Parish drug, alcohol council attends two-day workshop _lowres

Members of the East Feliciana Parish Drug and Alcohol Awareness Council attended a two-day workshop April 9-10 to learn about the Robert’s Rules of Order, to establish developmental policies and to receive training on how to effectively build a coalition.

The workshop was at the Lions Club Civic Center in Jackson and the district attorney’s annex office in Clinton.

Sharon Walker-McCall, of Resource and Fund Development LLC, of Baton Rouge, led the workshops.

The company is a strategy consulting and technical assistance firm that focuses on organizational, management and resource development.

McCall instructed the council on positive changes it could make, which members said they hope to implement.
