The East Feliciana Parish Council on Aging’s Public Transit service is not just for seniors.

During July, the Council on Aging urges residents to “Try Transit” during the month for rides to work, medical appointments or visits with friends.

“We’re trying to get the word out that the transportation services we provide are not only for the elderly but for public transportation, as well,” Council on Aging Executive Director Brenda Gardner said. “The Council on Aging Public Transit is the only public transportation service in East Feliciana Parish.”

To schedule your ride, call (225) 683-9862 or (225) 683-9808.
