Tiny Mardi Gras floats made by Quad Area Head Start youth in Clinton were displayed for parents attending a parade at the school on Feb. 25. The 3- and 4-year-olds made and decorated the festive floats during class.

The pupils participated in a walking parade while waving purple, yellow and green flags and wearing Mardi Gras beads. The parade followed a Black History Month program put on by the youth and their teachers.
