Visions Family Worship Center hosted its Resurrection Festival in celebration of Easter on March 19 at Centenary State Historic Site in Jackson.

About 175 people attended, enjoying games, raffles, inflatables, music, food and an Easter egg hunt featuring 3,000 eggs.

The Rev. Cary Payton Jr., pastor at Visions, said the church seeks to host events that are inclusive of everyone in East Feliciana as well as surrounding parishes.

Several businesses, along with community and parish leaders, contributed to the event, including Clinton Mayor Lori Ann Bell, East Feliciana Sheriff-elect Jeff Travis and Deputy Cullen J. King.
