Denham Springs student earns first-place state win _lowres

A Denham Springs student is one of five from the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts who qualified for national competition during the FBLA State Leadership Conference April 3-5 at the Lafayette Convention Center and Cajundome in Lafayette.

The National Leadership Conference will be June 29-July 2 in Atlanta.

Connor Elsea, a senior from Denham Springs, qualified to compete in the national event, with his first-place state win in computer problem solving.

Also competing in the state convention was Hayden Scott, a senior from Denham Springs.

FBLA is a nonprofit education association with a quarter-million students preparing for careers in business and business-related fields.
