The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development is holding a meeting to consider improvements to La. 447 at the entrance of Our Lady of the Lake of Livingston.
The meeting is set for 4 p.m. Thursday at the Literacy and Technology Center in Walker to discuss proposed changes to the La. 447 corridor, specifically multiple roundabouts.
Denham Springs Fair
The first Denham Springs Fair kicks off Friday at South Park and continues through Sunday.
The fair will include carnival rides, food and music and the first Miss Denham Springs Pageant.
Admission to the event is free. The Chee-Weez, Werewolf and the Chase Tyler Band are set to perform.

Storytimes on tap
Every week, Livingston Parish Library branches offers storytimes for babies through age 5.
Storytimes help develop pre-reading skills while children and their caregivers have lots of fun.
