The Baton Rouge Youth Ballet performed “High Jinx in Paris” for children and adults at the Denham Springs-Walker branch of the Livingston Parish Library on June 5.

Set in Paris, the ballet tells the tale of cafe customers whose lives are disrupted by the antics of two monkeys.

“High Jinx in Paris,” an original ballet, was choreographed by Susan Perlis and co-directed by Perlis and Rebecca Acosta.

The performance was part of Livingston Parish Library’s 2015 Summer Reading Program.
