The Greater Hammond Chamber of Commerce is seeking a new president and CEO following the resignation of Chris Brannon on July 17, according to a news release.

“This has been an amazing two years with a wonderful organization, but I have been faced with some opportunities that I feel better suit my career endeavors,” Brannon said.
Chamber Chairman Erin Cowser lauded Brannon’s efforts to enhance the organization and its role in the greater Hammond community.
“We wish Chris the best in his new ventures and truly appreciate the skillset he shared with the Chamber while at its helm,” Cowser said.
The chamber represents 11,000 employees and nearly 600 member businesses. Its goal is to provide members with tools for business success, leadership in regional collaboration and advocacy that benefits the best interests of the business community.
