Two members of the Livingston Parish 4-H shooting team competed in the 4-H National Shooting Sports competition June 21-26 in Grand Island, Nebraska.

Brothers Matt and Luke Seguin were members of Louisiana’s compound archery team, North Corbin Elementary 4-H leader Renette Seguin said in a news release.

Matt attends Walker High School, while Luke is a student at Walker Freshman High.

The archery competitors competed in three events both as a team and as individuals. Louisiana’s team placed fourth overall and picked up fifth in FITA, or the target competition, seventh in the field event and fourth in the 3-D division.

Matt Seguin placed seventh overall individually.
