Livingston, Tangipahoa and St. Helena producers have until July 15 to report corn, soybeans, grain sorghum, pasture and Conservation Reserve Program to the USDA Farm Service Agency, a news release from the organization said.
The agency reminds producers that it’s important to submit the reports, which can prevent loss of benefits for some programs. Prevented planting acreages are required to be submitted no later than 15 calendar days after final planting, the news release said.
Producers should contact their local USDA Farm Service Agency Office at (985) 748-8751, extension 100. The office is located at 805 W. Oak St., Amite.
