Brae’lynn Williams was the first baby born at North Oaks Medical Center in 2015.

The baby girl was born to Brook Williams, of Hammond, at 7:13 a.m. Jan. 1.

She weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces, measured 19 inches long and was delivered by Dr. Brian Ashford, of North Oaks Obstetrics & Gynecology, a news release from North Oaks said.

Grandmother Nicole Albert and siblings Joseph Chester Jr. and La’Karin and Ka’Niyah Williams, also helped to welcome Brae’lynn, the release said.
