North Oaks Primary Care Clinic, of Independence, has expanded staff and services to offer health care for patients of all ages, from birth to senior adulthood.

Family Nurse Practitioner Rebecca Haase has joined her husband, Dr. Anthony Haase III, an internal medicine physician and pediatrician, in practice at the Independence-based clinic. The Haases specialize in wellness checkups, vaccinations, treatment for common illnesses and injuries and management of complex health concerns for entire families, a news release from North Oaks said.

“It’s a privilege for us to care for our neighbors and friends,” Dr. Anthony Haase, of Loranger, said. “There is no equal to these relationships.”

Anthony Haase earned a bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in biological sciences/chemistry before earning his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his internship and residency through the LSU Medicine/Pediatrics Residency Program in New Orleans and joined North Oaks Physician Group in August 2011.

Rebecca Haase earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Wichita State University in Kansas and recently earned an advanced nursing practice master’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond.
