Award-winning director Frank Levy brought his instant theater performance of “The Knight and the Dragon” to the Watson branch of the Livingston Parish Library on June 22.

Levy assigned parts in the show to audience members to create the performance based on the popular children’s book “The Knight and the Dragon” by Tomie dePaola, a news release said.

Levy’s performances are supported by a grant from the state Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism’s Office of Cultural Development’s Louisiana Division of the Arts program, in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council and as administered by the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge.

The show was part of Livingston Parish Library’s 2015 Summer Reading Program. For more information about the program, visit www.mylpl.info.
