Facebook ads seminar

The LSBDC and LEDC also will host a free seminar designed to help businesses discover the value of Facebook marketing.

“The Art of Creating Engaging Facebook Ads” will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. June 11 at the main branch of the Livingston Parish Library in Livingston on Iowa Street.

Attendees will learn about boosting posts, promoting events, running ads, specific targeting, image selection and studying analytics.

Free cancer screenings set

Free breast and skin cancer screenings will be offered from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Walgreens, 101 Florida Ave. S.E., Denham Springs.

Learn how to navigate the Internet during a class at 10 a.m. June 12 at the main branch and June 16 in Watson.

The library’s One-on-One Tech Help class is set for 10 a.m. June 12 at the Albany-Springfield branch; 1 p.m. June 17 at the South branch and 6 p.m. June 30 at the Denham Springs-Walker location. Registration is required.
