Photo provided by Suzanne Gautier -- Holy Ghost Catholic School’s Spirit of the Stage presented a 15-minute excerpt of ‘Peter Pan Jr. at the Junior Theater Festival held Jan. 15-17 in Atlanta, Georgia, to get feedback to help perfect their upcoming public and school performances March 3-4. The group received a ‘Freddie G Award for Excellence in Dance’ as an ensemble.

Holy Ghost Catholic School’s Spirit of the Stage troupe will present its production of “Peter Pan Jr.” at 7 p.m. March 3-4 at the Columbia Theatre for the Performing Arts.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased by visiting or calling the Columbia Theatre Box Office at (985) 543-4371 between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays or one hour prior to each performance.

Cast members, who range in age from 10 to 14, have been rehearsing since October. The production is directed by Suzanne Gautier, with assistance from Brent Goodrich, Joell Jones and Alexis Mike.

The group presented a 15-minute excerpt of the play at the Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta in January . The troupe received a Freddie G Award for Excellence in Dance as an ensemble.

Gautier was one of six educators from around the country to receive a Freddie G Fellowship, allowing her to attend four days of master classes and activities this summer in New York City. Holy Ghost Catholic School will receive $5,000 to enhance its Spirit of the Stage program.
