The Livingston Parish Farm Bureau Federation recently made a donation to the parish 4-H Shooting Sports program.

Charles Kemp, president of the parish Farm Bureau Federation Board, and Lewis Bahlinger, parish Farm Bureau insurance manager, presented the donation to Mary Bertrand, 4-H shooting sports coordinator, and Harold Seguin, president and archery coach. Program participants also were in attendance.

The program offers training in BB gun, air rifle, air pistol, .22 pistol, .22 rifle, archery, shotgun, hunting and muzzle-loading disciplines to more than 180 members, who must be active in 4-H to participate. Several participants have won state and national competitions.
