Altered Books are a mixed media art form through which a book is transformed into a new object with a new meaning. Participants will cut, tear, glue, paint and stamp to transform old, unused books into new works of art.

  • PARACORD BRACELETS: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Livingston Parish Library Watson branch. Participants will be taught to create paracord bracelets out of parachute cords. The bracelets were originally used by soldiers as an easy way to carry extra cord in case of emergency, organizers said.
