In celebration of the “Global Week of Student Prayer” held Sept. 21-27, students at St. Thomas Aquinas Regional Catholic High School joined students across the world in gathering at their flagpole to pray for their school, friends, families, churches and communities, a news release from the school said.

“See You at the Pole” is a day committed to global unity in Christ and prayer for youth, the release said. The theme of this year’s event comes from Ephesians 6, “Never stop praying, especially for others,” the release said. The event was sponsored by STA’s Campus Ministries Department, and the prayers were led by junior Ryan Amerson and senior Ashley Cotton.
