Hammond Westside Montessori School second-grade teacher Colette Taillon donned giraffe pajamas when students returned to school after the Christmas break.

She received the gift from second-grader Chase Domangue, a news release from the school said.

Chase’s classroom theme is giraffes, and while Chase and his mom were Christmas shopping, Chase insisted on buying his teacher the pajamas for Christmas. Taillon loved the gift so much that she wore them while working carpool duty, and the parents and students were greeted with a big giraffe smile, the release said.
