Students and guests are treated to a formal business luncheon with an esteemed presentation of the award to each student. The business community shines and shows their dedication to the students of Livingston Parish,” said April Wehrs, president/CEO of Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce.

Satisfying the workforce needs of the business community is a topic that also will be highlighted at the luncheon with a presentation from Sheriff Jason Ard on the new Transitional Work Program.

The luncheon will be at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday at Carter Plantation in Springfield. Fees are $25 for members and $30 for nonmembers. An RSVP is required to attend. Contact the chamber at (225) 665-8155 or visit
