  • 12TH ANNUAL KIDS BIKE RACE: 9 a.m., Abundant Life Church, 206 Edgewood, Denham Springs. Kids ages 12 and under are invited to participate in a bike race hosted by Pelican State Credit Union. There will be three races divided by age group: 5 and under, 6-9 and 10-12. Three new bicycles will be raffled. Each participant receives a medal of completion and a goody bag. In addition to bike racing, there will be refreshments, a spacewalk, firetruck tours, face painting, door prizes and more. At the end of the course we will perform the song, “You Are My Sunshine” with the library band, The Dewey Decibels. Ukuleles will be provided to the patron for the duration of the six week course.
