Photo exhibit scheduled

From Jan. 4-28, the Arts Council of Livingston Parish will host an exhibit by The Louisiana Photographic Society January at its gallery.

A reception will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 9 at the gallery, 133 Hummel St., Denham Springs. Presentations will begin at 11 a.m.

Children’s choir enrolling

Livingston Parish Children’s Choir is enrolling singers through Jan. 26 for its spring semester beginning Jan. 12. No auditions are needed.

LPCC has two treble choirs: Apprentice, for kindergarten through third grade, and Chorus, for third through ninth grades. Both choirs meet at New Covenant Church on Florida Boulevard in Denham Springs. Apprentice meets from 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., and Chorus meets from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
