Don’t forget — Livingston Parish Library is hosting its annual Livingston Parish Book Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Main Branch in Livingston. All branches but the Main Branch will be closed.

The festival is free to the public and features live music, local authors, bouncy houses, original puppet shows and a Maker Tent.

Veterans Day USO show

The Spotlight Theater Players, an acting troupe from Denham Springs, will present “The Night t h e Clock Struck Twelve,” a 1940s-style radio thriller, at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Denham Springs-Walker Branch of the Livingston Parish Library.

Snoopy’s special day

Snoopy and friends will be at the South Branch of the Livingston Parish Library at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Children ages 3 to 11 will make crafts and play a game before eating popcorn while watching a Snoopy movie, followed by a dog bone piñata full of treats.

’80s throwback

The Watson and Denham Springs-Walker branches of the Livingston Parish Library will host ’80s nights full of music, arcade games, trivia, a cereal bar and more for ages 12 to 18.

Youth ukulele class

A six-week uk u l ele basics course is being offered to youth ages 12 to 18 at the Denham Springs-Walker Branch of Livingston Parish Library, beginning at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Uk u l eles will be provided.

The course will wrap up with students perform ing one song with library band The Dewey Decibels at the library’s annual Christmas concert.

Stop-motion animation

The Albany-Springfield Branch of Livingston Parish Library will hold a stop-motion animation class for ages 18 and older at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 12.
