Jake Drude is ending his free-admission Reimers Variety Music Show after 14 years.

The final show will be at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 14 at Reimers Auditorium, at the corner of East Charles and North Cherry streets, in downtown Hammond.

The show will be preceded by a potluck dinner at 4:30 p.m. Pastalaya or jambalaya will be furnished at no charge, but attendees are asked to bring side dishes.

Show guests include Jim and Jeff Fournet, country humorist Miz Maudie, inspirational speaker Kathryn Martin, Glynn Fendalson, Don Cade, Jack Usery, Jerry Fruge, Brent Gentry, Clif Moore, John Ford and The Old Guys and the Chicks, consisting of Cheryl Bankston, Terry Bankston, Charlie Bass, Gene Wolfe and Drude.

Other performers will be stopping by to wish Drude and the house band a farewell.
