The Quad Area Foster Grandparents, who serve Ascension, East Feliciana, Livingston, St. Helena, Tangipahoa and Washington parishes, partnered with the Quad Area Homeless Veterans Shelter to make Christmas a little brighter for the 36 veterans now living in the Winnie Sibley Veteran’s Village.
The foster grandparents serving in the Quad Area program collected personal care items to fill 36 Christmas bags for the veterans living in the QuadVets Home in Hammond. They also sent homemade sweets to the veterans.
QuadVets operates an outreach service of the Quad Area Community Action Agency based in Hammond.
The programs and services are available to veterans living Louisiana.
