Third-generation eye doctor Blake K. Williamson recently joined Williamson Eye Center at its Denham Springs clinic and its Baton Rouge surgery center, a news release said.
Williamson was born and raised in Baton Rouge, graduated from the Episcopal School and earned master’s degrees from Columbia University and Johns Hopkins Medical Center. He completed his medical school and ophthalmology residency training at LSU and Tulane, respectively.
Williamson practices comprehensive ophthalmology, specializing in cataract and refractive surgery. He also manages dry eye and glaucoma patients, specializing in micro-invasive glaucoma surgery with the iStent.
He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
