Mary Broussard received the 2015 Bob Easterly Award, a news release from the Livingston Economic Development Council said.

The Bob Easterly Award started several years ago to honor outstanding service to Livingston Parish to enhance economic development, the release said.

Broussard spent 12 years involved in economic development activities in the parish through her work for Entergy as their Livingston Parish customer service manager, working with both business and elected officials, the release said.

She also supported successful efforts to make improvements to the Livingston Parish Industrial Park.

She has served 12 years on the LEDC board of directors — from 2000 until 2012, including two terms as the LEDC board chair, from 2003-2004 and from 2009-2010. She has also served as past chair of both the Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce and the Denham Springs Rotary Club.
