Livingston Parish 4-H clubs marked the 2017 National 4-H Week, Oct.1-7, with service projects.
The Livingston Parish 4-H Jr. Leader Club members met with the parish president to have a proclamation declaring National 4-H Week in Livingston Parish signed.
Among the projects were providing treats at Holden High and homemade clover cookies at Seventh Ward Elementary 4-H for teachers and staff and reading Character Counts! stories to younger children at Lewis Vincent Elementary.
Lewis Vincent Elementary 4-H members collected animal feed and donations to send to victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas.
