Tangipahoa Parish business leaders are invited to join the Greater Hammond Chamber of Commerce’s Installation and Awards Luncheon featuring special guest Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser, a news release said.

The event will be from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, at the Southeastern Louisiana University Student Union Grand Ballroom.

“This is a great opportunity for us to thank our business community for their efforts in 2017 as well as move forward into 2018 to grow the greater Hammond area and Tangipahoa Parish,” chamber President and CEO Melissa Bordelon said.

Registration is required for the event, and all guest seating is $35 per person. Reserved tables of eight are available for $430 on a first-come, first-served basis. Register online at www.hammondchamber.org or call the chamber at (985) 345-4457.

Centerpiece Display Sponsorships, a way to showcase a business, the release said, are available for $150. The winning business will receive two free member news e-blasts ($200 value) and will be recognized from the podium. Photos of all centerpieces will be shared on social media.
