Children with disabilities attending a recent art camp worked on art projects as therapists and the staff at Launch Therapy Center assisted.

Launch Therapy Center designed an inclusive art camp to address speech and language needs of children with a variety of disabilities and for other children to serve as peer models, a news release said.

During the four-day camp on June 13-16 in Denham Springs, the 12 participating children completed three clay pieces, a canvas, sculpture and stick project, the release said.

An art show held at the conclusion of the camp enabled the children to share their work with their families and the community.
