Celebrate Earth Day with recycling

Celebrate Earth Day with a bit of “freecycling.” The Livingston Parish Library will host two free garage sales next week. Drop off gently used items such as household décor, cookware, toys, electronics and small furniture to a participating branch during the designated times.

Everyone — whether you donated or not — is invited to return to the free garage sale to take items they’d like.

  • Albany-Springfield Branch: Drop off Tuesday through April 27; free garage sale 9 a.m to 3 p.m. April 28, (225) 686-4130
  • Denham Springs-Walker Branch: Drop off April 28; free garage sale 9 a.m. to noon, April 29, (225) 686-4140

Call the participating branch for information.
