Students from Holy Ghost Catholic School will take part in the 2017 iTheatrics Junior Theatre Festival to be held Jan. 13-17 in Atlanta.

Under the direction of Suzanne Gautier, Joell Jones and Alexis Mike, the students will perform for judges a 15-minute excerpt from Disney’s “The Lion King Jr.”

Students taking part in the festival production include Ella Frazier, Brynn Rodrigue, Caroline Durnin, Sophia Pray, Brenley Cothern, Katelyn Hemel, Mia Prima, Angel Gaten, Lily Pistorius, Katherine Abdalla, Cross Carlisle, Claire Chauvin, Cade Garafola, Julia White, Leah Lambert, Gracelyn Navarra, Elisabeth Mollega, Anna Grace Hornbuckle, Jonah Revere, Claire Hidalgo, Allie Landry, Ryleigh Wallette, Graham Mizell, Damien Wootan, Caleb Landry, Sarah Cusimano, Jasmine Gomez, Billie Guffey, Nicholas Pevey, Rayven Yates, Anna Black, Alexis Bass, Beau Landry, Madeleine Durnin, Theresa Bardwell, Laine Lonero, Lizzie Zaffuto and Megan Jones.

The students are part of a troupe of 80 who will present the full musical at 7 p.m. March 30-31 at the Columbia Theatre for the Performing Arts in Hammond, as well as a special Education Outreach performance for all area schools at 9 a.m. March 30.
