A contingent from Livingston Parish was among the thousands of revelers from South Louisiana who took over the nation's capital for the Mystick Krewe of Louisianians' 70th anniversary Washington Mardi Gras Ball, four days of morning-to-midnight events from Jan. 25-28. 

The ball on the night of Jan. 27 was held in the ballroom of the Washington, D.C., Hilton. Todd Graves, of Raising Cane's, served as king. Reigning with Graves over the festivities was Queen Anna Reilly.
