Every Dog Club will hold its first sanctioned CKC Conformation Dog Show on Saturday, Dec. 2, at the Livingston Parish Fair Grounds, Livingston. 

Admission is free to watch.

The club is also holding an Agility Mock-Trial on Saturday, Nov. 4.

For the Dec. 2 conformation show, registration begins at 8 a.m. or online at www.everydogclub.org. Dog handlers of all levels are invited to participate. This event is an all-breed conformation dog show. Entry fee is $20 per dog, per class, which includes confirmation, designer, handler and dog costume. 

Vendor space will be available for $20 per space for businesses that offer products and services for dogs.

For the Nov. 4 agility event, registration opens at 8 a.m. or can be made online. Entry is $20 per class. First-timers are welcome. The event will be at Sidney Hutchinson Park in Walker.

Dog show tips and practice sessions are available at 10 a.m. on Saturday mornings at the Livingston Parish School Board Central office in Livingston. Each session lasts about an hour and costs $5 per dog per session. Pre-registration is required for the training classes.

After its 2016 Fall Fundraising Event, Every Dog Club made a donation of $200 to the Humane Society of Louisiana, a nonprofit that assisted in the care of dogs rescued during the flood. The club said it pledges to donate a portion of the proceeds from the Dec. 2 event to organizations assisting hurricane-affected dogs and their families.
