The 2017 CASA Fiesta, held July 16 at the Renaissance Hotel, launched the Capital Area Court-Appointed Special Advocate Association’s 23rd annual Casas for CASA playhouse fundraiser.

The evening included a silent auction, food donated by Caliente Mexican Craving, beverages donated by Baton Rouge Coca-Cola Bottling Company and Mockler Beverage Company and a DJ provided by Premier Production and Sound Services LLC.

The playhouse is on display through Aug. 13 at the Mall of Louisiana between Williams Sonoma and Pottery Barn. It is designed by Lilliput Play Homes and will be assembled by title sponsor Faulk & Meek General Contractors.

Raffle tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at, at the mall or at the CASA office, 858 Louisiana Ave. The raffle will be held at 5 p.m. Aug. 13, with delivery to the winner’s home available within 60 miles of the mall. Winners do not need to be present at the drawing.

Proceeds from the raffle are used to fund CASA's efforts to place abused and neglected children in safe, permanent homes.
