Cancer survivors learned tips on creating professional, long-lasting floral displays during a floral arrangement workshop held recently at Mary Bird Perkins-Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Center.

The class was part of the center’s free THRIVE survivorship programming for June. THRIVE aims to help cancer survivors cope with their emotions after diagnosis.

The class was presented by Rickey Heroman’s Florist and Gifts. Participants were invited to take their projects home at the end of the class.

Anyone impacted by cancer is invited to attend THRIVE events.
