Congregation B’nai Israel’s fall fundraiser, Art & Soul, begins at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at the B’nai Israel synagogue, 3354 Kleinert Ave.

The evening includes an auction, wine and signature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a performance with LSU professor and jazz legend Bill Grimes.

The auction features more than 60 items, including merchandise and gift certificates from some of the area’s most popular restaurants and retailers; artwork; luxury and box-seat tickets for select Saints, LSU football and LSU baseball games; a Les Miles-signed LSU football helmet and other sports memorabilia; a luxury chartered fishing trip off the Louisiana coast; and several vacations to destinations like Crested Butte, Colorado, and Woodstock, New York.

In addition to the auction, B’nai Israel will raffle a Lee Michaels Fine Jewelers gold and diamond bracelet valued at $800.

Art & Soul supports B’nai Israel’s music programs.
