Louisiana Master Naturalists of Greater Baton Rouge is accepting applications for Master Naturalist certification training.
Ten workshops with both classroom and field elements will taught by university professors and local content experts, who will cover topics including amphibians, stream ecology, arthropods, natural history, mammals, plants and more. No experience is necessary.
Applications are due Jan. 26 for the orientation session that begins Jan. 30. Details and applications are available at lmngbr.org.
Louisiana Master Naturalists of Greater Baton Rouge was founded in 2015 as a local volunteer organization dedicated to education and service in Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, St. Helena, St. James, Tangipahoa, West Baton Rouge and West Feliciana parishes. It is a chapter of the Louisiana Master Naturalist Association.
