St. Luke’s Episcopal Church members and Day School students loaded a truck full of donations for St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Beaumont, Texas, on Sept. 8.

The church and school community gathered items such as wet-and-dry vacuums, bleach, disinfectants, toiletries, new clothing items, basic medicines, water, nonperishable food and pet supplies. The items will be distributed in the Diocese of Texas following the destruction by Hurricane Harvey.

All Episcopal churches in the Baton Rouge area gathered donations to fill a 53-foot semi-trailer that was scheduled to leave from St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church in Zachary last weekend.
