St. Michael High School faculty members Lisa and Jim Baldridge took a group of eight students on a trip through Portugal, Spain and Morocco for 12 days during the summer.

Students got to ride camels in Morocco and learn about the Berbers of North Africa, a news release from the school said.

They attended flamenco shows, and learned about the history and culture of Portugal, Spain and Morocco while enjoying the sightseeing.

Highlights were Castelo de Sa?o Jorge, Mosteiro dos Jero?nimos, Seville Cathedral, Alhambra, Valencia Aquarium, Parque Guell and the Medina of Tetouan, Morocco.
