The students of Episcopal High School in Baton Rouge performed the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols for parents and supporters on Dec. 9 in the chapel on campus.

The program is a mix of Scripture and song that dates back to 1918, when the program was first performed at King’s Chapel, Cambridge, England, according to Jason Hubbard, former choral director for the school. Carter Smith, current director and former student of Hubbard’s, directed the Upper and Lower School choirs in the performance.
