Lady Raider soccer honored _lowres

In addition to winning the district title for the fourth consecutive year, several members of the Runnels School Lady Raiders varsity soccer team earned district honors, school officials said.

Senior Sadie Kraft was named Overall District Most Valuable Player; senior Olivia Arboneaux was recognized as Defensive MVP; and seniors Morgan Evans and Shannon French were named First Team All-District. Freshmen players Ally Garrity and Kaylen Howe and sophomore Molly Johnson made Second Team All-District.

Kraft also was named First Team All-Metro, and Arboneaux won second team honors.

Head coach Angie Mitchell, in her inaugural year leading the Lady Raiders soccer program, was named District Coach of the Year.
