“Wilderness Escape” was the theme of St. Jude Catholic Church’s Vacation Bible School.
More than 130 children attended the Bible School, held June 16-20 at the church.
Children learned about the Exodus from Egypt with songs, games, drama and a full-sized marketplace complete with “beggar,” a news release from the church said.
Marketplace shops included the stations where children learned about traditional crafts such as leather, wood, candle-making, canvas and tambourines.
VBS coordinators were Lindsey Stelly and Kati Craig, and Sarah Losavio served as marketplace director.
