Shenandoah Elementary School students in prekindergarten through fifth-grade made use of the STARLAB on March 4 to learn about constellations, moon phases and the planets, according to a news release from the school.

The STARLAB is a portable planetarium that students enter to view interactive space presentations.

“This 21st century technology encourages our students to be 21st century thinkers and innovators. My students have had more questions about space in the last 48 hours than I have heard in the past nine years,” said fourth- and fifth-grade gifted teacher Kathrin McGregor.
