Christian Life Academy student Kathryn Grace Craft is spending two weeks this summer studying neuroscience as part of the Tulane Science Scholars Program.

Craft, the daughter of Bruce Craft and Jill Craft and Jim Shannon, of Baton Rouge, was selected to attend the program through a competitive process that saw students from around the country vying for seats to earn college credit while still in high school.

Craft will start her senior year in the fall.

The summer program allows Craft to earn three hours of college credit.
