Another story and craft time for children ages 6 to 9 at Bluebonnet Regional Branch Library begins at 2:30 p.m. Monday.

There will be poems about cats and the true account of a seafaring cat in “Simon: Ship’s Cat First Class” by Jane Yolen, as well as a cat bookmark craft.

Princess story time

A princess will stop by for a royal story time, songs and a meet and greet from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bluebonnet Regional Branch Library.

Washi tape tea lights

Teens can light up their bedrooms with a craft project at Bluebonnet Regional Branch Library from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Stop in and use washi tape to decorate tea lights.

Brown Bag Movie

This week’s Brown Bag Movie for kids at Bluebonnet Regional Branch Library is “Emily’s First 100 Days of School.”

The movie starts at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday in meeting room 2. Kids should bring their own lunch and a drink.

Large groups or day cares cannot be accommodated.

Ballet bliss

The Tri Parish Ballet’s production of “La Boutique Fantastique” dances into Bluebonnet Regional Branch Library at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The performance is intended for children ages 4 to 11 and will be in meeting room 2.

Mounted Patrol rides in

The Baton Rouge Police Mounted Patrol will be at Bluebonnet Regional Branch Library at 10 a.m. July 14 to put on a demonstration for children ages 6 and older.

Game on

Bingo for all ages gets started at 2:30 p.m. July 14 at Bluebonnet Regional Branch Library. There will be snacks and prizes.

An afternoon of board and card games for teens is planned from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. July 14.
