Colon Cancer Screening: March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Lane Regional Medical Center will be distributing free Ez Detect test kits from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. The screening kits are for use at home and are simple to use. Registration is not required.

Infant CPR Anytime: Learn the core skills of infant CPR at 10 a.m. March 14 at this free course for expecting or new parents, grandparents, family members and babysitters. This course does not offer a CPR certification card. Registration is required. Seating is limited. Child care is not provided.

The Pregnancy Workshop & Baby Care Basics: An overview of what to expect for expecting parents will meet at  10 a.m. March 17. The class will also cover all one needs to know to care for an infant in the first weeks of life. Registration is required. Seating is limited. Child care is not provided.

Glucose and Cholesterol Screening: Lane Regional Medical Center will offer a free cholesterol and glucose (blood sugar) screening on American Diabetes Association’s Alert Day from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. March 27. Fasting is recommended, but not required. No appointment necessary.
