If I were asked to sum up life, I would politely respond with the words fight or flight.
If you stop and think for a moment, every faction of life is two-sided. Every single component of your life offers you a choice. We are presented with choices every day of our lives. Many of the choices we make are in our best interest, while others threaten to derail the future we so desperately desire.
If there is one point of life I am certain of, it is the choice to fight for what you want or to dwindle under pressure and live life in regret. There is nothing more heartbreaking than a wasted life.
I am sure you can think of someone famous or non-famous who you feel wasted some part of his or her life. Or you may feel as if you are wasting your life. We all have felt at some point or another, “I can do better than this.” A wasted life boils down to fight or flight.
Every human being was created to be a winner and leader. Every human being was created with a winner’s DNA.
Just as we all know by now, raising a trophy is a matter of choice. How badly do you desire the attainment? How much are you willing to sacrifice? Can you stand the pain?
Oh yes, in life, there is some pain to be endured on the journey to your destiny. Quite frankly, if you desire anything in life, learn to enjoy pain.
I honestly believe countless people have given up on goals throughout history all because they have chosen to take the flight out of town and view life from a spectator’s view.
On the other hand, I wholeheartedly believe that countless numbers of legends throughout history forged a new path for themselves and others only because they chose to get in the boxing ring of life and fight.
Life is a battle. But it is a battle that is to be won. Every second of every day, we should be choosing to fight. The sooner you get back in the ring, the easier life will become.
Stop settling to live beneath what you were created to be. You are a collection of unique genius. Do not let the God-given talents and desires you have go to waste. Choose to fight.
There is a reward for fighting. The prize for your fight may not have as many zeroes as the prize Floyd Mayweather gets when he fights, but the gratifying feeling you earn for stepping into the ring is more than worth the toil.
Stop daydreaming. Stop coming up with reasons as to why you are not good enough or why you should not try. Just do it. You have what it takes.
From here on out, fight. You were made to be a champion. You are a champion at heart. A champion is what you are destined to become.
