Visiting my sis Shirley Ann Miller, from Cummings, Georgia, was her youngest daughter Alisha, from June 23-26. Alisha was on an Alabama business trip, so she decided since she was so near to her mom’s location, she would come over for a little visit.

---

My sis Marie Hall and her hubby took a two-week vacation recently. They took in Branson, Missouri, the Dakotas, Kansas, Wyoming, Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone National Park, just to name a few. This was on their bucket list!

Congrats to The Advocate for being named Louisiana’s best newspaper!

As in the story of Ruth and Naomi (Ruth 2:2-3), they received an unexpected blessing. They had no one to provide for them. So, Boaz stepped in and supplied a field for Ruth to glean and also later became her husband. Ruth was in the right place at the right time. When it comes to helping others, please don’t stop for nothing and Jesus will reward you big time!
