St. Helena Parish School District’s administrative staff said its vision has always been to develop a productive school culture that increases student achievement, develops educator effectiveness and builds public confidence.

To achieve the vision, St. Helena College and Career Academy hosted a College and Career Day on March 19 at the academy, which involved over 25 organizations. The event served the senior class, juniors and sophomores along with their parents and the community.

Superintendent Kelli Joseph said the district has made it a priority to prepare students for life after high school by creating experiences to expose students to post-secondary options.
